Review by hotel critic
Nestled on a serene cliff by the lake, Hinders Cottages offers a unique mix of rustic charm and practicality. The cottages, while lacking internal running water, are well-equipped for a comfortable stay. There's an inviting outdoor dining area with barbecue facilities - perfect for those sun-drenched evenings. For those looking to blend relaxation with outdoor activities, the location provides access to canoeing, hiking, and cycling, making it ideal for families or anyone keen to explore. The laundry service is an added touch for longer stays, alleviating the fuss of dirty clothes during your getaway. The absence of certain modern conveniences might raise eyebrows, but it's advisable to keep in mind the financial wisdom of this option. With features like free parking, a private beach, and access to a sauna, you're balancing comfort with value quite nicely. Plus, there's a grocery shopping service arranged if you prefer to stay in and cook up your own gourmet creations, echoing my food critic roots. Ultimately, Hinders Cottages is a thoughtful choice for those wanting to disconnect while still enjoying a touch of luxury without breaking the bank.
